Fall 2020 Season Cancelled

The BISA board made the very difficult decision to cancel our fall 2020 soccer season out of an abundance of caution due to COVID.  We have been considering this action for a few weeks after looking at all the data and safety requirements to get our players back on the field as safely as possible as well as low registration numbers.  While we know that other sports will continue, we feel that our players’, coaches’ and referees’ safety must come before our desire to play the game.  We also looked at the financial situation we would find ourselves in if the season would be cancelled after teams were formed.  In that situation, we would not be able to issue any refunds.  We know this has been a major concern for parents when deciding to register their player for the season.  We will be working diligently in this time to bring our finances in better order as well as prepare for an amazing spring 2021 season of soccer for the players in BISA.  It is with heavy hearts we bring this information to you and hope you will stick with us for the spring season and be safe between now and then.  Any players currently registered to play the fall 2020 season will be contacted by BISA in the next couple of weeks about a full refund of money paid and information regarding any vouchers used.
